RailState

Aggregate table is publicly available at Public Reports - Canada Transit - RailState / Rail Network Intelligence Micro-data must be licensed and is available to shippers, financial firms and other transportation stakeholders (there are some use cases for the railways themselves but it is unknown if any railways make use of it at this time). Transport Canada has access to a Web UI and stores data consumed from an API in our Databricks environment - licensed for TC use only at a detailed level.

The system uses a Train Detector but training involves images of various car types, DG placards etc. So it can recognize car types where a car identifier is not read and creates a panorama and separates the train into cars for counting and classificaiton.
