The implementation has produced a more accurate, timely and complete dataset, reducing manual reporting burden and enabling faster analysis. Using publicly available proactive disclosure data allows the creation of new products that highlight individual clean technology projects, improving transparency and insight.
The system uses data from the proactive disclosure of grants and contributions published by the GC. This includes publicly available records of federal funding provided to projects and organisations. Historical datasets compiled manually in previous years were also used to train the model.
