The ADA project aims to streamline and automate the processing of paper-based forms received by teams at Transport Canada. By leveraging Power Apps AI Builder technology, ADA is expected to significantly reduce manual data entry efforts, improve processing speed, and enhance data accuracy. This will enable staff to focus on higher-value tasks while minimizing errors and operational inefficiencies.

A PoC completed in 2023 proved the feasibility of extracting data from scanned medical examination forms. With the implementation of the new medical database in August 2025 the Program is now working on leveraging ADA to extract data from thousands of medical examination forms.
