- Who runs it
- Employee Insurance Agency (UWV)
- Can it affect people?
- Yes. It may support a decision about a person, such as access to a service, place, payment, or permit.
- Possible rights impact: Direct decision or access
How much do we know?
A source is a published page or document behind a claim. The label measures what is documented, not whether a system is good or safe. Missing information does not prove that a safeguard is missing.

The interface and explanatory guides are translated. Record names, record descriptions, quotations, detailed editorial notes, and linked public documents stay in their published language so evidence is not silently changed.
What it does
A former matching tool that ranked anonymous profiles of jobseekers with disabilities against an employer's search criteria.
the story
An employer described a job and received an ordered set of anonymous profiles. An adviser connected real people only after human choices.
Ended July 2026 the Dutch register marks this system as no longer in use
Facts to check
- 01
Employers saw up to 200 anonymous profiles ordered by matching points.
- 02
UWV advisers could propose people outside the algorithm's ranked list.
- 03
The register says names, addresses, and ages were not ranking inputs.
If this affects someone
Ranking could affect which disabled jobseekers an employer noticed first. Human advisers and employers made the contact decisions.
An employer selected profiles of interest and a UWV adviser reviewed the request, discussed the job, and made introductions. Advisers could suggest unranked candidates.
The public entry points to UWV's general service and contact route rather than a separate algorithm objection process.
Education level, travel distance and ability, availability, preferred hours, workplace wishes, and desired sectors. Free text was not used for ranking.

Plain-language text was checked against the linked sources. Older editorial records do not retain model or prompt logs, so this is explanation, never evidence.

The score orders work, not people.
Review priority rises for rights-sensitive uses, missing sources, unanswered accountability fields, and old evidence. Strong official documentation lowers it. The score is not a verdict on safety, fairness, or legality.
A missing field means the attached public sources did not answer it. Coverage is uneven, publication does not prove performance, and a certificate has a defined boundary.
